HIMELON™ is a nonwoven that complies with the RoHS Directive and the VOC restrictions of major automobile manufacturers. It is low in VOCs and environmentally friendly as it does not intentionally use halogen compounds, formaldehyde or similar substances.
Applications
Himeron is utilized across a wide range of industries.
It is used in cushioning, dustproofing, and light-shielding applications in automotive, home appliances, audio equipment, and office automation devices.
In the automotive industry, it has a proven track record in solving noise problems caused by vibration.
61 product types in 3 manufacturing methods
Himeron offers 61 product types across 3 manufacturing methods, suitable for various applications.
1.Chemical Bond Method (HN-E, ULH-E, ULA-E4, SH Series)
These four series use pigment-dyed materials and are highly resistant to light.
The flame retardant properties comply with UL94 V-0, HF-1, and FMVSS302 standards, with a wide range of thicknesses available.
The SH series, a soft version of Himeron, improves the stiffness of the nonwoven fabric, enhancing adhesion to curved surfaces and vibration absorption.
2.Needle Punch Method (General SN Series, Flame Retardant SN Series)
The SN series comes in general and flame-retardant types, with thicknesses ranging from 0.5 to 5.0 mm and available in black and gray.
Made from polyester, these materials are highly resistant to weathering and dimensional changes. They are widely used to prevent noise caused by the friction of foam beads.
Recently, there has been an increase in demand for colors other than black to prevent malfunctions during camera inspection and to prevent adhesive leakage, so gray (marbled) has been added to the flame-retardant SN series.
3.Press Felt Method (SP Series)
The SP series is highly rated for its vibration absorption in low-frequency ranges, making it ideal for reducing rubbing and impact noises.
Its low stick-slip properties prevent adhesive seepage, and its excellent compression recovery makes it suitable for high-pressure areas.
To meet the growing demand for non-black materials to prevent malfunctions during camera inspection and to prevent adhesive leakage, a white series has also been added.
However, compared with other series, the SP series has poor light resistance because it is a dyed product.
